network privacy- the Tor network relies on volunteers to donate bandwidth
The more people who run relays, the faster the Tor network will be. If you have at least 20 kilobytes/s each way, please help out Tor by configuring your Tor to be a relay too.

- the Web browser is only able to make use of Tor when:
- both Tor and Polipo are also running as well; running this Tor package will auto-start Polipo, presuming it has already been installed: Menu > Network > Tor
- dependencies:
- Tor is dependent on the host computer having its clock synchronized with that of the network clock: Psync
- confirmation of successful Tor connection:
- a Tor circuit may be re-established, new identity created, at any time via: Menu > Network > Tor
