Tor
network privacy- The Tor network relies on volunteers to donate bandwidth. The more people who run relays, the faster the Tor network will be. If you have at least 20 kilobytes/s each way, please help out Tor by configuring your Tor to be a relay too.
- software package tor
- the Web browser is only able to make use of Tor when:
- both Tor and Polipo are also running as well; running the above Tor package will auto-start Polipo (assuming it has already been installed) Menu > Network > Tor
- Tor is dependent on the host computer having its clock synchronized with that of the network clock: Psync
- confirmation of successful Tor connection:
- an esxisting Tor circuit may be terminated and a new Tor circuit established at any time: Menu > Network > Tor
