Secure Hash Algorithm 1 (cryptographic hash function) utility that prints or checks SHA1 (160-bit) checksums

sha1sum is a component of Coreutils [GNU Core Utilities].

sha1sum-7.6-p4.pet SHA-1 checksum 8d41061562b3790a9f5f721ab65044ea83c83f7f

For printing a checksum for a given file enter into a terminal (console):
sha1sum [FILE]...
