sha1sum command line utility that prints or checks SHA1 (160-bit) checksums

sha1sum is taken from Coreutils [GNU Core Utilities] 7.6.

sha1sum-7.6.pet SHA-1 checksum 8d41061562b3790a9f5f721ab65044ea83c83f7f

For printing a checksum for a given file enter into a terminal (console):
sha1sum [FILE]...
