Graphic Image Manipulation and Program. Has similar feature set as Photoshop.

Installation
Install an appropriate software package:
Gimp 2.8.4 (Precise and Slacko)PET or SFS packaged by don570 (requires GLib version 2.30.2 or later)
Gimp 2.8.2 PET (Precise) packaged by BarryK
Gimp versions 2.6 - 2.8 SFS packaged by Shinobar
Gimp version 2.8.6 SFS plus gmic plugins 1.5.5 (Raring , Precise or Slacko) packaged by scabz

Dependencies
+babl,+bzip2,+cairo,+freetype,+gegl,+glib,+grep,+libexif,+libjpeg,+libpng,+libtiff,+libxml2,+pixman,+tar
