**Seamonkey Composer Publishing**
When you want to publish and you put in the site like so:
ftp://ftp.example.org/puppy/
composer assumes "directory" is relative to the path shown when you ftp to the site.
For example
If when you ftp to the site and the directory that it starts with is /htdocs
and you have a file to publish in /htdocs/puppy</em> your URL would be
ftp://ftp.example.org/puppy/
NOT
ftp://ftp.example.org/htdocs/puppy/</a>

I noticed that <a class="missingpage" href="http://puppylinux.org/wikka/MonkeyMenu/edit" title="Create this page">MonkeyMenu</a> is not compatible (already fixed - see the <em>italic statements</em> below) with extensions like <a class="missingpage" href="http://puppylinux.org/wikka/StumbleUpon/edit" title="Create this page">StumbleUpon</a> that add toolbars. When <a class="missingpage" href="http://puppylinux.org/wikka/MonkeyMenu/edit" title="Create this page">MonkeyMenu</a> over-writes the Seamonkey UI it improves it a lot by adding many features but at this time 2/2007 it can't see other toolbar type extensions so if you use Stumbleupon or other add-ons that add toolbars you should test how you like it with a live cd. <br />
<a class="ext" href="http://markbokil.org/index.php?section=tech&content=c_linuxmonkeymenu.php">http://markbokil.org/index.php?section=tech&content=c_linuxmonkeymenu.php</a><span class="exttail"></span><br />
"...add about 28 buttons to the Seamonkey user interface, collapse any toolbar, add/remove search engines, have your font zoom size reloaded, and use the new Search box feature. Basically the extension revamps the browser UI making it easier and faster to use."<br />
I'm running them now in Puppy 2.13 and they work perfectly for me.<br />
There is also a link to an experimental extension installer/uninstaller.<br />
Be careful using this as it may mess up Seamonkey. <br />
<em>I am Mark Bokil, the developer of <a class="missingpage" href="http://puppylinux.org/wikka/MonkeyMenu/edit" title="Create this page">MonkeyMenu</a>, <a class="missingpage" href="http://puppylinux.org/wikka/SeaFox/edit" title="Create this page">SeaFox</a> and <a class="missingpage" href="http://puppylinux.org/wikka/SeaGnome/edit" title="Create this page">SeaGnome</a>. I saw on this that it says that Monkeymenu does not work with Stumbleupon and other toolbar extensions. This was fixed in the last version of <a class="missingpage" href="http://puppylinux.org/wikka/MonkeyMenu/edit" title="Create this page">MonkeyMenu</a> and all toolbars work as expected.</em>

MD5 refers to the [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MD5 MD5 Message Digest Algorithm]]. MD5 hashes are often used to check if a file downloaded correctly, if the MD5 hashes are different, then the file is corrupted or a different version. A MD5 hash (or checksum) is typically a 32-character hexadecimal number that can result from running the ##md5sum## program against a particular file. Since any difference between two files results in two different values, MD5 values can be used to determine that the file (e.g. puppy-release.iso) you downloaded is an exact copy of the original file. The file with the MD5 value usually has the same name as the file you downloaded, but it ends with an additional .md5 and/or .txt extension (e.g. puppy-release.iso.md5.txt).
Note: An MD5 check is not necessary with a bittorrent download as BitTorrent automatically checks and corrects any errors.
