Description
Puppy 5.2.8 is the latest version of Lucid - ubuntu based. Lucid 5.2.8 is a mature, well-tested product with a nice set of usability features, a good amount of available software, and a supportive user base. It precedes Puppy53 Puppy 5.3 Slacko and Precise which are proceeded by April

I've added to Puppy Version List, however is the kernel the same as 5.25 and is it true t say 5.25/5.26 is just JWM or is it Openbox too?

Openbox is the default with JWM as the backup/alternative

Not exactly - you need to PM Larry to find out what he intends - but give him a few days grace - he is a lot happier but I am not sure which Lucid he is recommending. 528 uses a different kernel and even 527 is a derivative rather than an upgrade . . . from what I understand . . .

528 is a development of 526
they are both really Lucids and Upups
Now some links exist to puppy526 - but it has updated
We could move everything to
http://puppylinux.org/wikka/Puppy5Index
and organise better from there - but it is a lot of work
triage means prioritizing time

The title is correct but the page name is 'wrong'

it is common for people to work the next version over the last one - especially if it is fairly minor update made quickly. Both internal links can work here - Pup526 = [[Puppy526]] and Pup528 = [[Puppy526 Puppy528]]

An alternative is to clone to a new page called Puppy528 - however duplicates can lead to people missing info and if the old page is deleted the old links won't link ; -)
