system operation- features:
- kernel: SMP PREEMPT
- specializes in partitioning, formatting and recovery tasks using recent versions of software applications and Linux kernel
- runs entirely within R.A.M. from any medium on which it is installed (copy-to-R.A.M. mode)
- may be installed to optical disc, or to any other media via a frugal installation
- default user is root
