- to fix a N.T.F.S. load Microsoft Windows and run its disk checking program
- to repair a N.T. file system without booting Microsoft Windows the
umount /dev/sdX && ntfsfix /dev/sdX Mounting volume... OKProcessing of $MFT and $MFTMirr completed successfully. NTFS volume version is 3.1. NTFS partition /dev/sdX was processed successfully.
