Retrovol is a GUI volume mix control. Its an alternative to terminal AlsaMixer tool. It is included in most Puppy versions and displayed on the right side of the panel.

Right-click on the speacker icon on the panel:

Sometimes when retrovol won't start is because its configured incorrectly. The configuration file ~/.retrovolrc can be edited as text. (a hidden file, left-clicking on the eye in the ROXfiler ROX filer window reveals these.)

retrovol -v - returns version
