Puppy Linux has a unique feature of installing to a USB Flash drive, also called a Live-USB installation. To install, you will need:

- a 256MB or larger USB Flash drive (depending on the version of Puppy Linux you are installing, you may need a larger drive)
- an installation of Puppy Linux, or a working Live-CD

To install to a USB, boot up Puppy Linux and use the "Install" icon on the menu.
